It is the day
God Bless America and
America the Beautiful rings endlessly in my ears. A day when we sing love for our country. A day when Americans forget all the disagreements and conflicts discussed the day prior. Soldiers and heroes are recognized and applauded for risking their lives. Bald eagles, the most majestic symbol of America, fly elegantly in the baseball parks throughout the country. Fireworks launched on every street corner (emergency rooms busiest day of the year) and family and friends congregate for bbqs and all American beers.
Busch Stadium, home of Budweiser, was my first stop on this wonderful holiday. There's nothing more American than that; the sign says so:

And of course, the night concluded with family, friends and a spectacular firework production.
