KC Shakes

If you're looking for a fun summer evening activity, festivals are a great idea. Kansas City is currently hosting the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival. This year is Shakespeare's production of King Richard III. This is a great activity for families, friends, and partners. It is a free festival, but donations are accepted and appreciated. Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine, or buy food and drinks from the booths located in the festival.

My experience at the festival was a positive one. The production was well performed and very entertaining. The community center successfully brought the spirit of Shakespeare to the people of Kansas City.

If you have not yet attended this wonderful Kansas City festival, I highly recommend that you do! But you better hurry, the festival concludes July 3!
