One of the great things about Kansas City is Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Royals. The 6th oldest stadiums in the league, but newly renovated, this stadium is capable of housing 39,000 baseball fans. The availability and affordable ticket prices makes going to a ball game affordable for you and all your friends.
It was a beautiful Wednesday night to watch the Royals take on my home town Chicago White Sox. Although from Chicago, it was no difficult task to cheer on the Royals, as my heart sides with the Chicago Cubs over the White Sox. The 2009 Cy Young winner, Zack Greinke, was pitching and the Royals' bats were hot. As the game continued, the White Sox heated up just enough to keep the Royals' fans on the edge of their seats. The Royals finished the game strong with a 7-6 win. Not only was the game exciting, but I was sitting in one of the best seats in the ballpark; third row behind the Royals dugout! Great seats, great atmosphere, great company and a great win! What more can you ask from a Kansas City Wednesday night?!
